A New Christmas Playlist

Last year, I shared what I call my "heritage" Christmas playlist. These were the songs I have listened to during the Christmas season from childhood to adulthood, the ones soaked in meaningful memories of joyful times and people I have loved. You could call it the Playlist of Christmas Past.

This year, I'd like to share my Playlist of Christmas Present. These are songs that were mostly brand new to me last year when I decided to listen to as many new Christmas albums as I could (primarily in Christian genres). Many of them are original songs, and some are familiar songs with new arrangements. About 2/3 are worship/church songs, but the last few round it out with some romantic, rocking, or nostalgic pieces.
